Basic Information
Golf Club Guadalmina offers two 18-hole courses, designated as the North and South courses. The North Course opened in 1973 and is slightly easier than the South Course, which was built in 1959 originally as a nine-hole course but later expanded to its current eighteen-hole layout.
Guadalmina South Course is known for its hardness and difficulty, making it more ideal for experienced players. The fairways are narrow and protected by large trees, which, in addition to providing nice shade, forces players to concentrate on their strokes.
Guadalmina North Course is shorter than the South Course, but has more undulating terrain and offers more water hazards. Its layout requires you to drive right through the middle of the fairway or you could end up in one of the many water traps hidden in the rough.
Both courses offer great golf to players of all skill levels.

Our rating
Guadalmina Golf is one of those courses where you can test your skills. The North Course opened later and is easier, but we still recommend this course for more experienced players. The course is generally in good condition, the greens are fast and some holes are quite tricky. The setting is very nice with views of the Mediterranean.
